I bought my new boy just over a month ago, he is a classified Roarer, he passed a vetting and since I have had him, the vet has been out to do a health check and is happy with him.
Just wondered if there are any owners of 'Roarers' out there ?
He is my first one, I have never come across it before,

The vet said it will start to sound better obviously the fitter he becomes, I wouldnt class him as too unfit a the moment.,

Yes, I have one! - Grade 1, and therefore should never need surgery on it. I only notice it round a xc course, for instance, and it has improved hugely the fitter he has become. Was told that if I wanted to hunt him heavily or event at a higher level then he would struggle/tire very easily but it hasn't created any problems for me at the level I do!

I have one developed 6 months into owning her, noticeable in canter work only, had her scoped last summer and her larynx was perfect?? So no idea why she does it? She can gallop all day on the beach without being breathless so I don't worry too much
