This horse has the hiccups, and they are trying to get it to drink upside down. One can only imagine how complex of a procedure this is.

I'd forgotten it ever happened, hard to describe and I've only seen it once or twice years ago but it was very similar to us hiccuping except he didn't do it out loud, it was like those ones that make you jump but you don't make any noise, if you get what I mean?!

Wouldn't it just be easier to get the horse to breathe into a paper bag or give it a fright????

Umm, I do not think anyones has tried it - one would imagine a horse does not like being held upside down.
