Badger gets bald patches at certain times of the year, I used to think it was from wearing spurs but I haven't worn them for ages and he's still getting little bald patches.

He's grey, not sure if that has anything to do with it, and my legs are short on him so maybe rest on his sides more than they should? Seems to be when he's changing coat and makes me feel horrible!

Anyone else get this? Or tips how to combat it?
 
yep i get this too !!
usually when the coats are changing or when the the horse is clipped.

do you get it both sides ??
oh well hey-ho at least your evenly balanced lol
i find im stronger one side than the other so the rubbed patch is slightly larger on one side.

you could maybe try a little mane and tail sprayed on the area that would help your leg rub a little more smoother over the hair.
