my horse has loose dropping again- actually, she seems to have them when it gets really frosty or snowy. Does anyone else's horse do this and what do you do?

Hey my youngster was gross for a while when the snow started he is ok again now though, i put it down to him eating through the snow to get to grass and probably taking in a fair bit of water. x

Fair point- she's quite a delicate flower- she had the runs when it was really frosty last time, then she was fine as the weather improved and now rather loose again...poor pony!

Hey if its any help my girlie had the same this week, we decided she was feeling the cold, stuck an extra rug on her and she has been fine ever since.. would recommend you check isnt too cold!

My two year old has just been like this since thurs pm - but seems to be drying up now. Again, canonly assume taken in too much snow! I have added another rug also to keep her a lil warmer
