Horse with no name!!!

My daughter has acquired a hannoverian gelding through a friend, the problem is, this friend has acquired this horse's passport with his registered name scribbled out and his pet name entered over!!! she has his registration number but we can't seem to find how to enter this to obtain his real name on any hannoverian society website. Any ideas?!!!
