Apparently my horse is a freak of nature. She has no whorls on her neck. At all. Anyone else experience this? I've just had markings done for her microchipping cert. and the vet had never seen a horse with no whorls at all..
At least you wouldn't have to search for the 5 identifying marks. No whorls, no white on legs only a star and a snip as facial markings...was interesting!!!

Indeed, thankfully he was already microchipped before he was imported.
one hairless on RH, one white down her right side from going down in the box when some w***er pulled out in front of us and her white patches from a badly fitting saddle before I got her!
There WILL be a whorl on the face - it's impossible for the hair to all flow the same way. Similarly, there WILL be one on either side of the neck somewhere, but it may be up by the ears or right down at the wither. There will also be two on the brisket and two on the flanks at the stifle fold...
They will be there, just keep looking. (post us some pics and we'll find them for you)
There genuinely isn't - one whole in centre of chest nothing along neck (vet even got onto stool and looked down on her, took headcollar off to check there etc.)
Will get pics at weekend. Microchipping company will ony yaccept neck whorls as ID markings so body oens are irrelevant
My friends old pony has no whorls except the one in the centre of his forehead and the two on every horse in the worlds stifle bit (where the trace clip arches go)!!!
