Horse with no wither

For a friend- Her horse ahas no wither and he is falt backed- he needs a new saddle she was debating if treeless would be a good option due to lack of wither or if its a bad idea or see if theyres a pad on numnah ect that can give the impression of a wither?

Treeless works well for that type of horse. You only get what you pay for tho: the cheap ones are crap and will hurt the horse.

You can't give the horse withers but there are saddles to suit that kind of back. Try Thorowgood cob saddles, Ideal Highland and Cob saddles and Native Pony saddles, to mention a few brands.
