I am pretty sure I have found my ideal horse after lots of searching, but the only negative thing I can say about him (and I feel mean saying this!) is he has quite a large head/thick gullet. Can this type of conformation cause problems?
He is 5 yo ID X. I will be doing general allround activities and hopefully go on to event eventually.
Thanks for reading :)

Hi i have a Dales/TB and he has a big fat head :D but he has been the best horse ever (he's 22 now) he's jumped at Hickstead (8 years ago school teams) he hacks anywhere in any weather and is now teaching a 14 yo girl to jump so i would not let a fat head put you off as for thick gullet no idea sorry
Good luck

Thanks for your reply! He sounds like a star! Both my ponies growing up had pretty odd conformation, but were my two in a million ponies, where as my perfect-conformation-wonderfully-bred-and-very-pretty mare has been nothing but trouble and heart ache from the moment I got her!
I really like this chap, but I'm just worried this conformation will cause problems in training (breathing/flexion) when we (hopefully!) advance to bigger things!
