My mare is extremely difficult to worm with a syringe, I wormed her with worming tablets with no issues but now they arn't available. I need to worm soon to include tapeworm. Any idea's or suggestions welcome. Im going to do a worm count first.

I have put it in a feed for a few and they have eaten it no problem, if your horse is very fussy you may need to put something extra tasty in otherwise it could be left but mine were no problem and never left it, the other option is the panacur guard which is meant to be put in the feed but may not be the right one to use at this time of year.

It is still a bit early to do for tapes, that should be after we have had a decent frost or two.

I have one where he panics if he just sees a syringe. He's a big lad and it's safer for everyone to put it in his feed.

Equest and Strongid P both fine in normal feed. Pramox has a strange smell and needs a lot of copra to hide it. I was advised to use a wide shallow bucket to help disperse the smell.
