I'm looking to buy a 7.5t horsebox, i'm familiar with ford cargos but not sure about any others, would really appreciate some advice on what others are like to drive, how horses travel, any to avoid etc.

People will tell you to avoid Cargos because they rust... well, mine is fab, it is a tiny bit rusty but then it is around 30 years old 
I am only selling it as I am down to one ridden horse.
I had a Merc 308D before that, and it was ok, but no power steering, which made it hard to manouevere... much prefer the Cargo.
I have only had older lorries, sorry I can't help with anything newer Good luck finding a lorry
