horsebox dealers that will do a part-ex-midlands and surrounding areas?

iv got a 7.5ton Iveco that im looking to part-ex for a 3.5 ton.

Iv contacted Alexanders and will ring Central England tomorrow, please can people reccomend other reliable dealers who do part-ex's please. Just want to get one gone and another one sorted!

(nothing wrong with the big lorry BTW, i just dont need a 3 horse lorry now!)

I don't know the name but there is a dealer I am sure who advertises on Horsemart quite a lot based in Nottingham. You woukld just have to have a look on horsemart in that area but I am sure I have seen a fair few ads from that dealer before. I have been to Alexanders in Boroughbridge before - he is an ok guy but i wasn't overly keen on his 3.5T vans to be honest. I don't like the design of the ramp door and also felt there was a fair bit of space being wasted in the back/grooms/tack area.

There is JSW horseboxes also based in Yorkshire. They have been about for years.

It would be best if you could sell privately and then be a cash buyer!! a dealer will want money from your lorry and some from the one you're buying...

oh i absolutely know that a part ex will give m less than a private sale but its much easier...

I got my lorry from Andrew Saywell too, www.horseboxes.com he always has loads in stock and was incredibly helpful and accomodating, saw it on a Monday and by the weekend had a new living fitted out and some alterations to the horse area, ready to take home! Mine is a 5t Select he converted originally but had back in PX as the family had traded down to a 3.5t, and is superb in quality and build construction, not one of the flimsy cheap jobs!
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
