Hey, I was hoping there may be some of you out there who could help me with this one.

I have been googling all night but seem to be completely missing the info!

How can you tell if a horsebox of 7.5t has had its annual test? With MOT's you just bump your details into the VOSA system and you get a yes or no. Is there something similar with LGVS? Or do I have to call VOSA?

I have seen some PG14's, but cant get my head around these, as they seem to be the "notes" and not the actual "pass" certificate, are they one and the same? I am at a loss.

I have seen the plating, but that seems to be all about the weights, and not really its annual check. Is the plating the pass, and the pg14 the notes? Confusing!

How can you tell, indefinitely that a vehicle of this size has had its annual check, and is there a name of the certificate which goes with?

Thanks so much for your help :)( I am being quite a noob about this!)

I don't know if it's possible to look it up online, but here's what I got at testing for mine:
A sheet showing the braking test results.
A sheet with any advisories marked (if it fails this is where they will write why it's failed).
An MOT certificate with the vehicle reg & chassis no on it and the date of expiry.

The plating certificate is more to do with registration of the lorry, nothing to do with the annual test.

The document number is VTG5. It should be with the PG14/2 that are the notes. The plating certificate (VTG6T) should be displayed in the vehicle. This is the laminated cream colored certificate.
