Just looked at a Ford Transit 3.5 tonner. It's got an F reg Engine, with a J reg Chassis (but may be the other way around- can't quite remember!). They've just spent over £1000 getting it all fixed up completely so it's all fine to sell. But normally it passes MOT fine anyway. She's asking £4500 but no less than £4000. Is this a good price? Shall we buy? We currently don't have any form of transport! Mum likes it but dad's a no-no, as he's worried about all the other running costs included.

No i think that is far too much- mine is 1994 (L reg) and is only £2500! (it is scruffy but mechanically sound!)
If you have £4000 i would hold out for a slightly newer chassis.
