Horsebox help!

Sorry if it's been done already, but without the search function I can't find the info I want.
I'm going to look at a D reg VW LT50 horsebox tomorrow, and was wondering if anyone has any tips on what to look out for? I'll be getting it checked by an expert if I like it.
Could anyone who has got (or driven) one of these lorries let me know what they think of them?

i Have a vw it's a great little lorry just check the gear stick it shouldn't have to much play in ie. wobble when in gear. also lift up cover in middle and look for oil leaks.and rust around fuse box. hope yours is ok.

How heavy the ramp is. If you can't do it by yourself don't buy it.
