We are going to buy a horsebox and have seen one we really like- however are unsure if our horses will fit inside.
The width is 7ft but unsure of height. My new horse is 16.1/16.2hh and is an Irish Draught cross Warmblood. We also have a 15hh Irish Draught cross Cob, will they both fit inside comfortably?

Hello, I have a box which is 7ft wide and even herringbone my 15h heavy cob looks squished in length ways. It may look worse as im used to seeing him in a forward facing box - but he doesnt look although he can stretch his neck. I would measure their length first as I was really suprised about how long my cob was! ... he has been in an 8ft width lorry and looks fine in that

Hope this helps.

Hi - What kind of horsebox are you looking at?

Not many 3.5T would be able to take two horses that size, for any horsebox it's important to know the payload. I've seen 7.5T lorries that only have 1.5T payload yet the sellers are adamant it's a three horse lorry.
