Hi, I am hoping to get a 7.5 tonne horsebox early next year, I have enquired with some local companies regarding updating my license which shouldn't be too much of a problem but I am not sure how much insurance will be for the lorry. I am female and by next year I will be 23, does anyone on here of a similar age know what it is likely to cost??

Thanks in advance.

i found NFU to be the most reasonable for young drivers, back when i was 20 i think it was about £400 3rd party, fire and theft, but that was for a 3.5tonne box.
hopefully another HHO member might have a better idea for a 7.5tonne box.

NFU told me they wouldnt insure me on a 7.5t when i was under 25 (even tho i had my class 2)

I am with KBIS and have been ever since i got my lorry at 21 fully comp was about £500 (lorry worth 20k) its come down every year since and i reached 25 its come down even more
