You need something that is euro4 emissions so newer than about 2006 or there are firms retro fitting filters and catalists to make older lorrys compliant I would ask at your local HGV testing station and the local comercial vehicle dealers/repairs garrages,
the horse box bit isnt important its the chassis/engine that has to comply regardless of the body fitted so they should be able to help with advice as to your options either new chassis under your box , modification or a make model of chassis which will convert to be compliant so you can get a box that will be able to be made lez friendly..

Now know what is needed,
Basically if you purchase a vehicle that is under 5 ton Gross vehicle Weight of Euro 1 or Euro 2 you only need to take it to Euro 3 under phase 3 of London LEZ

If you purchase a vehicle over 5 ton GVW of Euro 1,2 or 3 you need to take to Euro 4 under phase 4 of London LEZ.

Either way you are looking for a particulate filter that will take you up two levels of Euro.

The Filters are likely to cost between £3.0 to £3.5K depending on the power rating on the engine of the vehicle you purchase

So I think its back to a trailer:mad:
