The living in my lorry is basic a cupboard and a bench seat I would love to update it slightly(any ideas or suggestions welcome as to what I could/should fit into about 5ft space), I thought I could cook on one of those camping stove things with the gas cartridges but does anybody know how I could power a 12v fridge/cool box (without using the battery) would I get a power pack thing or am I better with a really good traditional coolbox? I'm confused, I only need stuff to stay cold for a day 2 at the most. Any help greatfully received, in an ideal wold would have fab new lorry like girl in my yard but life not ideal.

You could run it off a seperate battery in living you would just have to make sure it was charged before your trip.
If for one day could use cool box with icepacks have done that ok.It maybe ok til second day if not too warm depending on food item.If milk you could always use those UHT cartons .think they are yuk but at least don'y need to be kept cool until opened.

We have a fridge of the type fitted in caravans. You have the choice of running it off battery (eg while driving somewhere on a hot day), then when you park up you can connect the gas. You might prefer (if you have room for a small bit of work top) to have a pair of proper gas rings - one for the kettle and to toast bread over, one to heat up something (soup, baked beans)

thanks for the help I looked into split battery thing but seemed quite expensive to fit a fridge to run off gas may be worth a look. I did email the mobiwasher people as they have a rechargable 12v thing but it only has about 1.5 hours charge. I hate this being poor thing and having to try and do cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!
