does anyone have any experience of Alexander Motor Company in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire? Any feedback appreciated, PM if you prefer. this is their web link.

Was looking at the 7.5 ton lorries, they have couple on their site built by the same people mine was and a new build I like look of but dont know anything about them.

Looked ok but... non tilt cabs are the sign of a very amatureish builder and not a good idea unless you want huge bills for repair and mainternance

If you look at the interior of the boxes they included an access hatch to the rear of the engine. This is what my previous lorry had and I had no complaints from my garage about access nor were the bills huge. Agree in an ideal world tilt is preferable but then some of the ones I see with lutons and tilt facility look very amatureish and clumsy. The search continues

I should compare the makes at somewhere at www.horseboxworld.com We have currently a Davenport from Mansfield which is lovely.
