Hello just wondering if someone can help.
As I have always been lucky and had daddy to sort the lorry I now don't have him and need to stand on my own two feet.

I am wondering about mot / plating for my 12t Iveco.

is the plating the same as a MOT so is instead or is it aswel as a MOT?????

weight adding up to the 12t would be put in the back and lorry tested under full weight thats pretty much it. treat it as a mot the station where its tested are often able to put the weights in.. its worth asking.

All HGV ie vehicles over 3.5 ton have to have been plated -plating is the weight limit plate and certificate attached to vehicle. MOT is what these vehicles have every year but they need to go to VOSA test centres (not many of them) to be done. this will include a brake test "loaded " and "unloaded". I know cos the buy who looks after my lorry works for VOSA and does the tests. You book the MOT online via VOSA website.
