Horsebox Pre-purchase inspection companies Cambridgeshire?

Hi,

I am so excited to have found a horsebox that I'm keen on! As it's my first box, I really want to get it looked at by someone before I purchase (and the seller is happy for me to do this).

Can anyone recommend a company who does this in Cambridgeshire?

if you get stuck, the RAC will do it-you have to ring an book a commercial test though, rather than booking through website.

Would they also check the floor to make sure it's safe etc. or just do a mechanical check?

Great! I don't know the area well as live on Surrey- I just travelled up to view the box!

Thanks! no particular concerns- I just want someone to give it the once over before I buy to make sure the floor is sound etc. and it's not going to break down straight away!

It's an old box and I know having someone looking over it won't mean it won't break but it's good for my peace of mind!

I've got someone to look it over for me and it's happening tomorrow- eek! So nervous! Feels almost like a vetting haha!

I didn't want to start another thread so thought I would carry on here. I want to get CCTV so I can see what the horses are doing from the cab which I can check if I hear noises/which passengers can keep an eye on. Has anyone got one? Where did you get it/what do you have?
