Horsebox problem

Hi, Does anyone know how much it would cost roughly to fix a master cylinder on a Mercedes 814? We have just sold our box and were transporting it tomorrow to find today all the clutch fluid seems to have leaked. Any advice/help is much appreciated.

If it is the Clutch Master Cylinder then it probably would be one hours labour plus the cost of the parts. It may just be a gasket which has gone. Does the cab tilt?

Master cylinder roughly £100 (as it is a merc) Labour 1 hour . Providing pipe work is sound and undoes easily. Odd that you have lost the fluid from the master cylinder however. They usualy pack up but dont leak . It is the pipework or slave cylider where the leakage generaly occurs. Are you sure it has suddenly leaked rather than that no one has checked the level for years? It may just need a top up and bleeding.
