We are possibly looking at getting a horsebox and i was hopeing somebody could help me on a few queries..

If you are wanting to travel 4 large horses - Hunters - whould you require a HGV?

Also, does anyone know where you get 4 horseboxes which aren't too expansive?

I'm no expert but would imagine for four large horses
HGV would come into it just by weight.
We got our lorry from yellow paper, but it was also
advertised on e bay

Yes you would be able to travel 4 in the right 7.5 ton but doubtfull it will include living, if you want anything more that a basic day living you will need to go to a 10 tonner, try someone like
tristar in wales they build stick sided alloy lorries with a good payload ,
