horsebox ramp matting

Well after yesyerdays horrendous weather and dad leaving the ramp down at the show the matting on the lorry ramp was like a sheet of ice and the horse slid like bugger. Can anyone recommend a good matting I can usem currently has rubber mats. I was thinking of the brown matting (not sure what it is called). I don't want to scare her as we used to have issues laoding so want to replace ASAP

I got some heavy duty hemp/hessian from a local carpet shop. To do my lorry ramp cost around £70 but well worth it.

I've got my old bedroom carpet on mine
