Horsebox ramp question

Ive not done a horsebox question for a while so hope Im forgiven for this :D:D

Has anyone got a ramp that is secured with a central lock rather than the normal side fasteners?
Ive seen a wagon I quite like but its got the central lock and being a 'what if' sort of person wondered if this failed, how would you get your horse out!!
 
I am pretty sure I did in the past - it had the normal closing devices on the side but they came together into one central lock, if my memory serves me right. Never had any problems with it.

This hasnt got the side bits, you cant see anything but the central lock so all the mechanism must be inside :(. Im known to be an unlucky person so it would be my luck to have the quirky boy stuck in there :eek:
