Hi, after some advice please, had my lorry ramp replaced about a year ago, local handy man did it, marine plywood. However it has just started rotting, it seems to be rotting where the rubber matting covers it (just the middle strip) so I'm wondering if it was the glue he used to stick the mat on top that's caused the wood to rot. Can't get hold of him any more to clarify what he used.
My husband has done a bodge repair with more wood on top, but not ideal as ramp is so heavy I can't put it up on my own
So need to get ramp replaced ASAP, just wanted to pick anyone's brains that have carried out ramp repairs. Is marine plywood the best wood to use or Phenolic plywood? And can anyone recommend anyone near to me (crawley/Horsham) that can carry out this type of work? Thankyou
