I've got an elderly 3.5 ton lorry that is in great condition apart from the ramp which is starting to look its age. It can be repaired fairly easily but I have thought of replacing it with an aluminium one. Can anyone give me an idea of price? And if anyone knows anywhere in Herefordshire/worcestershire/shropshire that does this, that would be great too!

Thanks in advance.

can i just say that if the ramp is starting to look its age, there's a very very good chance that the floor is too... please please have the floor checked very thoroughly, consequences don't bear thinking about.
£500 ish to replace/repair the ramp on my old cargo after it dropped clean off the hinges (with 2 horses on board), 1 month after being checked.

Thanks Kerilli, the floor has been replaced and is fine, it's just the ramp. I have only recently bought the lorry and I'm not sure how the previous owners were brave enough to use it to be honest given the way the ramp bends when a horse is on it

. Still, it was cheap enough so it will be worth getting a new ramp done.
