I am increasingly taking my boy out on his own in my little lorry, and am finding the ramp a little difficult to get up on my own. Would an adjustment too or the replacing of the springs help with this. I have a 6.5t Iveco Daily L reg and I am guessing that they are the original springs so a bit old.

It depends if they have been adjusted already and if there is any left to go, if its hard to pull down initially it may have no more to go, if they are underneath you could have a third spring fitted if new ones don't help much or gas struts.

Does it have rubber? You'd be amazed how much this weighs so it may also be worth switching to carpet or grip top matting.

I'm no expert and only know this info as mine weighs a tonne and am having work done! I am happy to be corrected ;)

If your in Essex maybe take it to Priory Stud, they are very nice people.

My OH fitted an extra spring to my ramp so I could manage on my own. Ramp had been refurbed and the rubber really made a difference
