We lost our horsebox in the flooding last October and the insurance company have written off the chassis but allowed salvage of the actual box. It was booked with in SPR in Preston and we have been waiting months to now be told the night before the recovery was booked for that they are still not ready to start work and can't/won't give us a date. Hence I now need to look for reliable alternatives who we are not going to be waiting another 6 months for. We need a builder capable of a chassis swap (the chassis bought is basically identical to allow for an easy swap). It also needs some windows on one side upgrading, and new doors to the locker & living and new steps. Ideally we would want also want pod fitting to retain the tilt this time and a respray. Obviously in this situation our insurance company has paid out what they think it should cost to rectify the horsebox so we are working to a budget and could do without fancy firms totally ripping us off. We really need help with this as I have found this to be a final kick in the teeth to what has been a pretty awful 6 months and struggling to start again trying to find someone.

You could try Elite horse boxes, they are based at Doddington near Nantwich Cheshire. I've only ever heard good things about them
