Horsebox started!

My horsebox has a history of doing whatever she wants ... Yet at -6 this morning, she started first turn!
Now idling away on the driveway to get nice and warm as , otherwise, I know she won't start again when we try to leave the yard which is only 2 min away.

We do have a strange hobby, don't we ...

sadly yard doesn't have parking, but it;s still happily warming up on driveway ... Might take it for a detour though! It hates short trips ...

Mine eventually started yesterday afternoon! I usually have to charge it before it will consider starting, but yesterday that didn't help. It really needed to as it was full of bags of poo for me to take to the muck heap 5-6 miles away. I don't think it's very well, so I am going to have a quick chat with the mechanic tomorrow. But how am I going to get it there when it only starts if the planets are in alignment...? I wonder whether I should just have left it there yesterday & talked to him about it afterwards...?!

I left mine with my mechanic for almost 3 week two years ago, as I told him I didn't want it back until it was starting more reliably. I wasn't even going for "always" just "more often than not and maybe a little bit less random" ... he did achieve this ambition and we've had a good run since then so I'm thinking the more recent reluctance is more likely to be a straightforward weak battery. I think they do drain on random stuff like inside lights, cameras, etc ...

Yeah I think I might have to do that...I've had enough of the unreliability! At the moment, I'm just transporting poo, but one day (please!) I might get another horse which doesn't have PSSM & then I will really need it to start when *I* say & not when it decides that it feels like cooperating.
