Had my 7.5t weighed today and its 5260kg. I was suprised at that as its a basic box and I thought it would be lighter. My partitions are mega heavy duty and so heavy though. Do you reckon it would legally carry 3 horses as Im going to advertise it next week so want to be honest etc.
Also after the tacho question the other day Ive checked mine and theres a small sticker with 8000 written on it. I cant see a date anywhere. Looks like 2 other stickers have been there at some point. Am I one of the unlucky ones that need to have it re done?

To carry 3 horses you need a 2 ton payload so 5.26t is plenty and will carry 3 big horses and gear.

Much better than mine, that with plenty of bells and whistles and empty water tank was still 5760kg.....

You should just about be Ok as you have 2.2 ton payeload (I assume it was weighed with the partitions in). If you allow 600kg per horse =1800kg that would leave you 400kg for fuel, water, kit and people etc.

Oooh thats good then, I thought it would be just about ok or def 2 large horses and 1 pony.
Fingers crossed for its plate next week.
Thanks for replying
