is it possible to geta 3.5tonne lorry on hp? Looking to get my first lorry soon but they all seem very old and high milage that are within my budget, Wondered if it would be better to get a newer one on pay monthly basis ?

If at all possible go the bank loan route as the interest payments will be a lot lower & thus a cheaper loan.

Why does mileage put you off ?? it is a very poor indicator of condition, unless you are going into proffesonal horse transport its unlikely to do much in a year!! I would however agrree about age newer can be better but condition and the standard of conversion is the best way to judge... get anything vetted by a mecanic before you buy......
HP yes you will be able to get a quote but most companys wont lend on vehicles older than about 5 years and the interest rate will be higher on older ones a bank or personal loan would be a better bet, however anything will need repairs and maintance , tax and insurance so becarefull you dont end up with a financal noose round your neck.....
