im thinking of getting my test done so i can drive over a 3.5t could you tell me how much tax, plating, insurance etc on a horsebox and any other costs involved thankyou.

Tax on a 7.5 ton is £165, just the same as a car if you nregister it as a private vehicle. As for plating, it depends what needs doing to get it through. Insurance differs depending on vehicle & value however you can get an online quote with Anthony D Evans:

Just had mine plated and it cost £80. Insurance for me and hubby over 25

with breakdown cover is £330 with NFU
