Does anyone feed this to their horse when out in the day but in at night? It's the one that's suitable for good doers/laminitics/natives. Just wondered how potent it is though from analysis on their website has a good fibre content.

I feed it to my welsh cob good-doer.Never had any problems with it and theres no waste- he gobbles it all up! Only down side is the price

Yes I feed it to my two ponies - one has had lami in the past (not with me) and the other has a sensitive tum, but I feel that horsehage is more consistent than hay.

I vary between the Marksway high fibre horsehage and the Devon high fibre haylage depending what's available/on special offer.

Pony seems to like it when she gets some, and doesn't make her go all buzzy to ride like other haylage can.

I agree with Nikki.. I feed it to my ponies, Warmblood and my clevelands (one of which is recovering from pedal rotation).. I cut my own hay now too but I'll probably keep that for the hard as nails 4.. 2 are very sensitive to grass sugars..

Yes, I have been (although mine is out 24/7 but the grass was *****e and he likes to go into his shelter at 8, when the other horses go in)

I have now changed to a cheaper version, which lasts longer - still high fibre, but from a company in Norfolk I believe ( sorry, can't remember off to top of my head) but its half the price as doesnt have bale string or second inner cover

He looks fab from it :)

I'd be interested in that Russianhorse, if you happen to remember or find out, thanks :) x
