How long does a bag of horsehage last?

If it is Marksway horsehage then it tells you on the bag somewhere. I think it is 5 days.. if only mine lasted as long as that!

Do you mean lasts as in before it goes off, or lasts as in how long for my horse to get through it?

my mums horse is on it and he gets through a bag in 2 days if he is living out. over the winter it was almost a bag a day.

We have moved to silvermoore and it is cheaper, last longer once opened and is feeding him for about 4 days now

On the bag its says 5-7 days i think-but in the colder weather if you were to unwrap it it may last longer than that?- but it would be dependant on how much you use.

My 2 horses were on it for a couple of weeks when my haylage suppliers couldn't get to me safely because of the snow and bad weather- I had to open a bale every day, but I didn't mind as it was very nice stuff and they really seemed to like it.

If you mean how long will it keep? Around 7 days after opening in cooler weather. If you mean how long will it last regarding feeding, then it depends on what other forage the horse is getting. I would expect one horse to get through a bag in two days or less if that is the only forage being fed.

on the bag it says 5-7 days until it goes off and would last on average a medium weeighht horse 3 days

My piglet's getting through nearly a bag a day. We have very poor grazing atm though, so I have to put it out in the field too.
