Just wondered if anyone has used this company?
I currently use NFU who i am very very pleased with but have just got a quote to add the new pony onto my policy and its nearly £700!!! I cant afford that.
I looked online and i can afford to insure both horses with this new company.
The vet fee cover is not quite as good but better than nothing
Any views on them?

They are part of the E&L group... so i'll let you draw your own conclusions with that one... but barge and poll pring to mind.

see the link below about underwriters

Your paying for a service and like everything cheapest is not always best.

Not heard of horseinsurance.co.uk but I would definitely recommend you don't bypass getting insurance because its expensive - just one vet bill could be more than £700 ! In fact is almost guaranteed to be.

You could pay monthly ?

I can 100% say do not go with E&L - i went with them because they were the cheapest and unfortunately I have had to claim 4 or 5 times in the last 5 years and have found them to be incredibly difficult to deal with.

They are definately part of the E & L Group.

I was with them for a couple of months when i got my new horse, heard about E and L's reputation and ditched them straight away.

Try KBIS....they are really good value....premium was only about £2 a month more than horseinsurance.co.uk and they seem reliable!
