Just a note really to think out loud how thankful I am to be "horsey" :p:):o

After man trouble a few weeks ago - I rode an for that hour could only think about my position and aids.. What man?!?!?! Clear head moment!

Watched my old boy be ridden my an excellent young jockey on the weekend and seeing her and the comments made by her and other on lookers about how wonderful he was made me so proud and happy

Stressful day at work yesterday yet finished at the office headed to the yard and was greeted by two neighing adoring horses - stressed angry face replaced aloof smile

Came out of miserable meeting today - to receive an email about my horse being a complete "dduudddee" and sharing a snickers with said email-er!

They are funny things that do cause stress but on the whole bring SSOOOOO much happiness ;-)

Do you know the rhyme,

' There was a little girl, who had a little curl right in the centre of her forehead.
When she was good, she was very, very good but when she was bad she was horrid'.

Reminds me of the horses, its either heaven when they are well, or hell when they're ill.

But, yes, apart from that slightly jaded aside, I know what you mean. I always think walking onto the farm to see the horses is like walking through a magic gate.
Life and its stresses stay outside.
