Could somebody please enlighten me what it is about that, definitely not glorious product called MUD and the horses need to ' get down and dirty ' in the damn stuff.
My grey boy Sam, affectionately known as Soggy And Muddy seems obcessed with flattening the large squidgy, water filled crevices of mud that looms in the gateways of many a paddock in winter time. But my mare on the other hand has dug herself a mud pit, big enough to house a giant hippo!
They have rugs on with neck covers but still they manage to get it half way down the neck and half way up the sides of their bodies. If I don't brush them daily they go out and pack some more on but if I brush them they still go out and pack it on lol
I give up and wonder if I should just let them be filthy, mud covered beasties untill the snow or spring moult, when mother nature ( in entirely different forms ) does the job for me!
