Not too sure about the rules for advertising loan horses here but I'm trying to help my friend out and have been looking for a while now and not found anything

So thought I'd turn to the help of all the fellow H+Her's here lol as this forum's always helped me so far!

My friend is looking for a horse on full loan, Ideally 15.2hh but will consider anything between 15-15.3hh. Ideally lightweight build, no heavyweight builds. Anything between 6-11.
She's looking for one so she can get out competing [SJ, XC, dressage, bit of showing, etc] and needs to have a good jump, been out and seen a bit of the world, have good paces as she loves dressage and schooling and just a general fun ride really! She's a very talanted rider and has had horses her whole life, I'm taking her current horse on loan[16.3 ex racer which she reschooled herself] as she now wants something smaller as she's only small herself.
Any area considered providing the horse can move to her current yard near Peterborough.
Short or long term loan considered, maybe because owner going to away to uni or something and doesn't want to get rid of their horse but still wants it out having funand competing and kept in form etc. Anything really!

If you know of any that fit the bill or know any good websites please let me know guys

Tried all the local tack shops, internet sites, word of mouth etc....but there's just nothing around that she's looking for atm

Just thought I'd see if you guys knew of any!

Many thanks!

[PS, my horses found lovely homes and have both settled in fab...Cassie is now named 'the wonder horse' bless her and Bandit is in a PC home with a really talanted little riderwho can hopefully get him out and about! And my new horse is coming next week

I'm looking for a simlar thing to her (although i'm looking 16hh and above) and really struggling, best of luck, and if i see anything during my searches i'll try and let you know!

Thanks! It's a nightmare isn't it lol.

What sort of level are you looking at doing with yours? I'll keep an eye too

We are having the opposite problem. My friend is looking at part loaning her horse with a view to him going on full loan towards the end of the year/beginning of next year but hasn't found anyone yet

That would be great! Thanks so much!

I'm looking for a general riding club horse xc/sj/dressage/pleaseure rides/hacking and in the midlands/leicestershire area - i have a stable on a fantastic yard, 23 years riding exp and 15 years of owning and loaning etc etc. i've applied for a darley ex-racehorse so keeping my fingers crossed for that too. has your friend thought about another ex-racer that has had all of the ground work done and then just needs bringing on? definitely have lots in the height and age range she's looking for at all of the different charities.

Yeah I did mention that but she's looking for something that she can go out and have fun on competing now and not really have too much of a project this time round, as she just wants to get out there and have fun herself again rather than have to produce something again.

I'll defkeep my eye for you! I'm bored as now so willcarry on horsey shopping XD lol

They're both nice, not sure about the first one the word 'temperemental' has put me off, and i think the 2nd is a bit too far away. thanks though! i promise i'll have a look tonight and see if i can find any for your friend!

lol yeah just thought I'd post them and let you decide lol....I always think like it's me looking at ads and never put off by stuff and always more inclined to go towards the tempermental ones haha XD

hmm, had a temperemental mare for 13 years - prefer a slightly easier life now! thanks again though, oh and forgot to say earlier - good luck with your new one!

If anybody would be interested in a Sec D, PM me!!

I am not sure if he would be competitive enough for what you are looking for, but I am looking to put mine out on loan, and haven't really advertised properly as there were so many people at a local yard that wanted him, and begged me to wait for them, and now can't be be bothered to even come and look at him!!

He hasn't done much jumping, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't. Is 12, a sweetheart to handle, no issues but a bit of a wimp with big traffic, but fine with an experienced competent rider...

I have had a bit of a break while I had my son, and am now a complete wimp (Despite having never fallen off this horse or had any problems a complete wimp can't deal with!!) and my new Cob is bombproof enough to hack out with my six year old so he is completely wasted at home.. I am not far from peterborough, and pretty open minded about how/where/if he goes... I just want him to be doing something!!

If anybody wants a horse to ride, again PM me for details!!

Oh no. Do not tempt me with a Welsh D.

Oh no no no no XD

On a completely non-commital, just out of interest note.....how big is he? lol

Sutton St James, it's about half way between wisbech and spalding, and holbeach and thorney, it's about 20 mins drive
