Hello All,

Im anewbie to this forum but not to riding, I am about to sell my daughters pony so we can get her a horse and we can do a share if need be as I also have a gorgeous well mannered 15hh gelding. I dont want a superstar, but a forward going 15-16.2 horse for happy hacking, local shows and jumping.

Any ideas where I should look other than classifieds, I live in the trowbridge area so as near as possible would be good. I waslooking at Broker Farm but ive read some horror stories from others, thank god for these forums

Thanks all :p xx

There used to be a guy near Crudwell/Brinkworth that sold horses but I can't remember his name, he posted on here a few times if I recall. There's another dealer on the Braydon X-Road too but I cant' remember his name either sorry!

My daughter is looking for a horse in the Swindon area and she saw a 13yo TB gelding who was so lovely and sweet natured but not quite what she was after, he sounds like he'd be ideal for you. I think he was on Adhorse if you have a look.

I have a 15hh lovely coloured mare who may suit! We're near the Severn Bridge. PM me if you'd like more details!

hmmm might be wise to avoid brokers wood, they don't have the best rep! have you checked the notice boards in countrywide, mole valley and Wadswick?

It's new people there now :) but they mostly have ponies, sec A/sec B.

Mole Valley had a lot of ads up the other week, otherwise I'd try ringing the local riding clubs as they may know, or Kerry at Downlands - she often knows of horses for sale that aren't advertised.
