Horses for share in the Richmond/South west London area

Hello,

I am an experienced horse rider having owned my own horses and ponies for many years. However I moved from Ireland to Richmond nearly two years ago and because I work 5-9 hours in central London I dont have the time to own my a horse here in Richmond.

I am currently looking at part-share/loans options in the Richmond area and at present there are no share options at both Ham Polo club and Ham house stables..

I would really appreciate if anyone would let me know if they know of anyone in that area who are looking for people to part share or even if you know any other stables/livery yards that may have share options?

You may need to look a bit further out, seeing as there are a limited amount of liveries / horses at those yards you mention. Do you have transport? Loads of yards down the A3 in Chessington / Claygate / Cobham / Ockham etc.

Have a look at Gumtree / Horsetoloan / Horsesharesuk / post an ad in tackshop windows etc.

You could try Stag Lodge - I don't know if they have horses to share. Or Wimbledon Village Stables?

Otherwise you will start to look down the A3. We're stabled in Claygate and have several liveries etc from the Richmond Area. There are horses for share / loan around in this area. The A3 is your friend!

Thank you for the advice! I have luckly managed to find a horse for part share in the Richmond area through the Polo club, which is working out well .... I did try Stag Lodge but they dont have facilities for part share as of yet but are looking to expand their yard.
