hi
my pony was off-colour for no apparant reason and not jumping well but i assumed that was because his old stud guard had rubbed him under the leg.
well i was away for 2 weeks and he was ridden twice since i left, and i jumped him today and he was much better and didnt feel as "dead". so i have decided to not jump as much but do lots more hacking in the rain!

have any of your horses ever gone sour?

No mine don't. Because I have so many horses they sometimes have to wait a while until it is their turn to go out for rides. They all love going out for rides and the minute a saddle comes out at my place they all stand around the gate almost saying "pick me, pick me!!"

Variety is the spice of life.......not a truer word has been spoken in my book.

My old pony did. I used to jump her almost every day and compete every weekend for about a month after I got her. One day she got so fed up she just chucked me off lol. After that I only jumped once or twice a week.
