I've just emailed and offered to join them through Glasgow in uniform on Darcey! Have donated and I am doing a collection too. My brother in law was badly hurt in Afghanistan in 2009, I'm a TA medic and my husband is going to Afghanistan next year so it's a cause very close to my heart.

They're great aren't they, there was a huge turnout of supporters in Malmesbury and Cirencester on Thursday. Mark Todd and Bear Grylls were riding in Cirencester. Hope the weather improves for them though.
Wasn't much local news coverage which was disappointing.

Have texted and dnated, i donate regularly. my brother is going to afghanistan in october this year for his first tour and my OHs cousin has been over a few times and is due to go again early next year. I think these soldiers are amazing they are so driven to recover and from injuries most people could never imagine having

Good to see Tarporley welcomed them with open arms too and great pics, far better than those of mine of Whitchurch which are in the Latest News thread. What time did they get to you, they were nearly 2 hours late to us?
Best of luck to them today when they meet the real hills, hope they raise lots of money.

Saw them and donated yesterday, Craven Arms were running 2 hrs late then. Apparently there was some sort of hold up in Ludlow.

they didn't get to Tarporley until about 9.15 and left there about 10pm. Re the photos my camera is the bizz but then you will have seen it out with the WWW!:D

Sorry to bump this up again but if they are passing near you make the effort and get out and support them-they are an extraordinary bunch of people raising money for an extraordinary cause and you won't regret getting out there to cheer them on!

I went to see them in Tarporley too on Friday night and donated my £5. They were running late and it was pouring down but it was well worth it for a great cause. x

They are getting near destination and apparently need hay at John O'Groats so if anyone can help out get in touch with them and for everyone else donate some money!
