Not getting this at all. Put hay nets out for my horses, and the following morning a lot of it is still left in the net. No problem with that, but after giving them their breakfast they then go over to the hay barn and stare longingly at the stack of hay - where the hay in their nets has come from! - and totally ignore the hay in the nets. Even if I put it on the floor. So I have to admit that I'm ignoring them and thinking that they have perfectly good, clean, plentiful hay in the nets and if they're hungry they'll eat it. Why do you think they do this???

Have your haynets been pee'd on by a dog or cat, have a sniff as that could be the reason the are refusing to eat that hay which you give them.

B does this, She won't eat the hay in her stable but will try to eat the hay from the pile of haynets outside her stable.

So I put the one she is eating out of in her stable, and she won't eat it ... awkward so and so

Nas wouldn't eat hay of the floor only in a haynet. but I got fed up of trying to untangle the haynet most morning's. then one morning he had twisted it round so much the string was so tight i had to cut it. he now has it on the floor!
