Horses Inside Out Demos

Hi everyone

After being recommended by some friends I have just booked my places on two demonstrations by Gillian Higgins and Gerd Heuschmenn (I think that's spelt right!) in September at Vale View in Leicestershire.
Gillian is the lady that paints the body systems of horses on their bodies and I have often seen photo's of her with a grey horse with his skeleton on, but I was wondering if anyone else had every been to any of her demo's and what they thought??
My friends that recommended me to go said that the demos were really interesting, and I love the thought that I could improve the way I compete etc by changing how I school- but what do you guys think??!

Her demos are fascinating, really worth going to.

They are very good! I saw one when i was at university, well usefull and interesting information. A real insight into the horse.

Not seen a demo but we do have Gillian's book and DVD as she came out to look at Paddy. She's really good at explaining what she's doing and having watched the DVD which is pretty much a filmed demo I was impressed - it made me think differently about a few things with regard to how a horse moves and the impacts we have on them when they're being ridden.

thank you! It does sound really interesting and I am looking forward to the demos.
From what I have found Gerd is meant to be fantastic too and everyone that has seen him thinks he's great. I have his classical vs modern book and I can recommend that.

It's amazing!! I have seen one at Hartpury with her and it was brilliant as she paints her grey horse and then she lunges and jumps etc and you can see how all the bones move, would love to see another one x
