Does anyone know anymore about this accident? had the horses escaped from a field? Or were the owners there? OH came home and asked if I;d heard anything as it said what's in this report. Anymore details anyone?

I took it as they were loose on the roads and caused a nasty accident!

OH thought he heard that early this morning on the news but it was quite early in the morning and these reports only mention the drivers being injured nothing about riders? It would have still been quite darkish at 7.20am!

So sad makes you think how quickly things can just happen. RIP to the horses and hoping for a quick recovery for anyone involved. x

How terrible for everyone involved; condolences to the owners of the horses, and hope the people involved in this awful accident make a speedy recovery.

Also we should not forget the police and other emergency services, who would have found this whole incident traumatising as well.

Its everyone's worst nightmare, even the very best fencing is no deterrent against a determined horse.
