Poor horses.
Foxviewstud- it can be quite common practice, particularly in polo and hunting circles to travel untied with no partitions. Actually far safer than you might imagine as horses can balance better when not restricted- ie same reason as for half partitions. Also, I suppose we couldn't say they wouldn't have died if they had been tied....you do hear horror stories of horses dying through strangulation if the lorry tips, which arguably if they had been loose would not have happened.
Ahh. Very good point DD. Funny how when you read things the inflection can be misinterpreted so easily. I think you may well be right, so if any needed for misunderstanding, apologies for foxviewstud.
Really, I so didn't know that. I travel mine with partitions anyway, but didn't know it was illegal in Europe. Learn something new everyday!
