17 yr old mare, has a very easy life, hacking out once or twice a week, lives out most of the time .... and for no apparent reason her knee has started clicking!!! She isnt lame and seems no different, but something has changed!!! What is this and why has it happened and can I stop it? Joint supplements - farrier says no point, just one of those things, feed oil if anything? A quick search on here suggests that it is probably the onset of arthiritis and not at lot to be done and vets arent worried about this sort thing... is this true?
