Horses let out West Berkshire

I just have to let people know that we are highly convinced Dougal and Twiggy were attempted stolen/ let out their field last night. Not really up for sharing the details as the consiquences were very distressing. If you want to know more PM me but please put pad locks on your gates. I can't imagine any one else going through what I went through today.

I think your right hun, we had reports of the same thing last week on the A4 - it won't make you feel any better I know but you know it is NOT anything you could have done. Please report it to TVP and Helen at Horsewatch.

We had a spate of this a few years ago. Not far away. I would say padlock both sides of the gates. Mine were lifted off the hinges but fortunately all horses were ok. They came back again but couldnt open the gate second time around. They also opened all the gates of a neighbours fields and she had cows, horses and sheep all in together in the morning. Fortunately they didnt get on to the road.

There were a couple of other instances of horses being let out in the area but none were stolen.

So beware anyone in this area. (Hants/Berks border)I hope it isnt happening again.
