My youngsters feet are good and obviously just gets a trim routinely.
my TB is shod.
I am worried whilst the grass is lush and weight ok, about their feet not being very strong.

Is there a supplement out there I can feed that anyone would reccomend?
They have a mineral lick (horselyx) or something like that. But I am guessing that is high in sugar too. They also have hay but hve not touched it since being in field with more grass.

youngster has a tiny handful of feed whilst TB eats so youngster is living off pretty much grass and she is 2yrs. TB does not have a lot otehr than alfabeet, allan and page hacking mix and alfa a oil. She doesn't have huge amount tho and only once in morning.
Thanks in advance

Ok if both horses are doing well then why do you need a supplement?
If you really want to know what is in your grass mineral wise then you can have a sample analysed and there are companies out there that will then work out exactly what minerals each horse needs. Otherwise your horse will be receiving some minerals in his feed and by just adding a supplemnt you could be wasting your money :-)

Ok thank you. I suppose just worrying as reading on here how bad the grass we put them on is for them which I kind of knew but never thought about trying to balance it out as they live out 24/7 on it. Thanks
